Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed BJP workers at party headquarters in the national capital, right after the party made huge gains in assembly election held in northeastern states, namely Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland. As soon as PM Modi begun his victory address, azaan started at a nearby mosque, he immediately halted his speech for a few minutes and patiently waited for its completion. Once it was completed, PM Modi broke the silence with Bharat Mata ki Jai’. PM Modi said, ‘Election analysts in India will have to understand the journey from no one to one, shunya se shikhar tak. When the sun sets it is red in color and when it rises it is saffron. The northeast has today come forward to lead India on the path to development’.
