Описание: Marathon Season 1 is almost here, and Bungie has finally revealed how the seasonal system works. In this video we break down everything you need to know about Season 1: Death Is The First Step, including progression resets, the Cryo Archive end-game zone, Ranked mode, faction progression, and how seasons will shape the future of Marathon.

Marathon will run on three-month seasonal cycles, where every season introduces new content like weapons, Runner shells, zones, contracts, and gameplay systems. At the start of each season, players begin with a fresh progression reset, meaning everyone starts from zero and climbs their way back up through contracts, faction upgrades, and better gear.

Season 1 also introduces one of the biggest mysteries in the game — the Cryo Archive aboard the Marathon ship orbiting Tau Ceti IV. This high-risk end-game zone will unlock once the community discovers a way into orbit. Players will explore frozen vaults, solve security puzzles, and uncover secrets that even the UESC fears.

Later in the season, Ranked Mode will also unlock, allowing players to test their survival skills and climb the competitive ladder while extracting valuable loot.
