二胡双音挑战Love Me Tender

後來為貓王的首部同名電影《Love Me Tender》重新填詞。電影講南北戰爭後，兄弟間的愛情糾葛與家庭衝突，貓王飾演弟弟Clint，在三角戀中以悲劇結束。
挑戰的重點是在演奏主旋律的同時演奏出帶有很多變化音的豐富和弦主幹音。
這次錄音試著用NuxC9疊加韶琴插電帶動Mighty Plug Pro混合，錄出磁性的聲場音色。

二胡のダブルノートチャレンジ『Love Me Tender』〜エルヴィス・プレスリーの1956年の不朽のラブソング。
このメロディーは、アメリカ南北戦争時代のフォークソング『Aura Lea』に由来します。原詞は、金髪の少女Aura Leaの美しさと優しさを描いており、春の柳の木でさえずる黒鳥のように、陽光と喜びをもたらすと歌われています。兵士たちの間で広く愛唱されていました。
後に、エルヴィスの初主演映画『Love Me Tender』のために新たに歌詞がつけられました。映画は南北戦争後、兄弟間の恋愛のもつれと家族の葛藤を描いた物語で、エルヴィスは弟のClint役を演じ、三角関係の末に悲劇的な結末を迎えます。
今回のチャレンジのポイントは、主旋律を演奏しながら、変化に富んだ多くの装飾音を含む豊かな和音の主要音を同時に出すことです。
今回の録音では、Nux C9を重ねて韶琴のエレキサウンドをMighty Plug Proとミックスし、磁力のある空間的な音色を目指して録りました。

Erhu Double-Stop Challenge: “Love Me Tender” — Elvis Presley’s classic 1956 love song.
The melody originates from the American Civil War-era folk song “Aura Lea”. The original lyrics describe the beauty and gentleness of a blonde girl named Aura Lea — like a blackbird singing in the willow trees in spring, bringing sunshine and joy; the song was widely sung among soldiers.
Later, new lyrics were written for Elvis’s first movie of the same name, Love Me Tender. The film is set after the Civil War and tells a story of romantic entanglements and family conflict between brothers. Elvis plays the younger brother Clint, and the love triangle ends in tragedy.
The main challenge in this performance is to play the principal melody while simultaneously bringing out rich chordal notes filled with many chromatic notes.
For this recording I tried layering the Nux C9 over the plugged-in Shaoqin (Shao Qin electric erhu) and running it through the Mighty Plug Pro for a mix, aiming to capture a warm, vocal like tone.
