Описание: This Earth Month, we present films celebrating nature, serenity, and coexistence, showing people living in harmony with the environment. Through these stories, viewers are invited to witness, reflect, and consider their role in the world.

Filmmakers Tessa Brinckman, Hyonok Kim, and Vibol Sungkriem join Walter Krochmal, director of Bronx World Film, to share insights about their work and creative journeys. Bronx World Film, a Bronx-based nonprofit, champions arthouse cinema and empowers emerging filmmakers.

👥 Meet the Guests
Host Walter Krochmal is the Founder and Executive Director of Bronx World Film, an NYC nonprofit celebrating arthouse cinema and global storytelling while empowering emerging filmmakers. An actor, filmmaker, and audiobook narrator, Walter has worked internationally, using film as a tool for community, cultural exchange, and human development.

Hyonok Kim is an award-winning filmmaker and choreographer who creates films exploring expressive movement and atmosphere. Born in South Korea, she studied film and dance in Paris and New York and has taught at Keimyung University. Her work has screened at international festivals worldwide. Hyonok is the director of Ode to a Korean Urn.

Tessa Brinckman is a New Zealand flutist and composer living in NYC, blending technology, cross-cultural traditions, and contemporary themes. She has performed internationally and works across music, animation, installations, and theater projects. Her work is noted for its surreal nature, humor, and political edge. Tessa is the co-director of The Gorgon Cycles.

Vibol Sungkriem, born in Cambodia, grew up in New York City after fleeing civil war and developed a passion for filmmaking. He studied at the City College of New York and has experience in directing, producing, cinematography, and post-production across shorts, music videos, and documentaries. Vibol is the director of Farmer’s Life.
