We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the great Kirin Kiki, and are thinking back fondly to her visit with us this summer as the guest of honor at JAPAN CUTS 2018. When she received a standing ovation after the screening of MORI, THE ARTIST’S HABITAT, Kiki filled the room with her mischievous smile. We will miss a lovely actress with a knack for expressing the spectrum of human nature in many beloved films. Rest In Peace Kiki-san.
Filmed at JAPAN CUTS 2018 in which Kirin Kiki was the recipient of the CUT ABOVE award for Outstanding Performance in Film.
