Описание: Welcome to our Bibbulmun Track thru-hike series - hiking our way end-to-end 1003km (623mile) in Western Australia on this beloved trail stretching from Kalamunda to Albany. We hiked between October & December 2020.

This episode takes us from the Northern terminus / trailhead on the outskirts of Perth at Kalamunda (on October 9th, 2020), through the hills and into the ancient granite terrain of the Monadnocks. The heat and the ups and downs challenge us, but we delight in creating a trail family with our new mate, Bob (Local Legend). It's a long way to the toilet for late arrivals at crowded Waalegh camp and Howie battles flies to do a tour of Monadnocks camp.

We would like to pay our respect to the traditional custodians of this land - Noongar (Wajuk, Pinjarup & Wiilman) Boodja and acknowledge elders past, present and emerging. It is a great privilege to walk on this ancient country; land which was never ceded.
