400,000 Singaporeans to receive first half of $3,000 Workfare Special Payment from July 28

Описание: Under a $1.2 billion Workfare Special Payment scheme announced during the Resilience Budget in March, 400,000 lower-income Singaporean workers will each get $3,000 in cash payouts. Half will be paid out from July 28, and the remaining in October. Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat said the payouts will help lower-income workers with their immediate needs and also with retirement adequacy.
