Hey there, it's Dylan Curious from the Curious Future channel, and today, we'll be diving into the powerful AI tool, Poe. If you're into advanced AI models like chat GPT, but you're seeking the freedom to switch between AI models, then Poe is your go-to platform. Not many talk about it, but as an AI tool junkie, it's one of my most frequently used resources, and I'm excited to share it with you.

Poe's unique selling point is the ability to switch between various AI models quickly, like Anthropics, Clod models, Google's Palm 2, and even upgraded versions of GPT4, including the elusive 32k context model, which isn't available with Chat GPT. It's a one-stop platform that keeps me from juggling multiple APIs and sites.

Another noteworthy feature of Poe is the larger context windows offered by some models. The GPT4 32k model and Clyde 100K models, for instance, can handle significantly larger amounts of text, enabling users to summarize entire books or long research papers—an invaluable tool for AI enthusiasts, researchers, and anyone in the realm of AI.

Discussing cost, Poe has a subscription model priced at $20 a month or $200 a year. There's also a seven-day trial if you want to test the waters before diving in.

And if you're curious, Poe is made by the same team behind Quora.com. Quora's a private company founded by a few early Facebook pioneers and is likely worth a couple of billion dollars.

Let's shift gears a little and explore a feature of Poe that I haven't played around with much until recently—creating your own bot. Now, this can range from purely fun and novelty to highly useful. For instance, Poe has a bot that can turn text into emojis, a bot for RPGs, and an embellish bot that turns simple sentences into technical and convoluted ones—a unique feature for the creatively inclined.

Poe is available on Android and iOS, offering a basic chat interface for mobile users. Plus, it's equally functional on mobile, giving you access to all the AI models, and even the bots you create. Speaking of which, I went ahead and created a Curious Future bot for you to play around with on Poe.
