At the Canadian National Exhibition, heading eastward on the Sky Ride, it provides a great view of the midway rides as well as the CN Tower.
Never having been on the Sky Ride before, I found it a bit scary because I'm afraid of heights. However, I wanted to have different perspective of the midway rides and it did not disappoint. The all too familiar sites and sounds of the Ex brings me back to my childhood days.The sky ride used to be an enclosed cable car, not seats like the ones seen in this video.
For those who are not familiar with the C.N.E., it's an annual fair since 1879 that marks the end of summer right before school starts. The only times it didn't run is WWI, WWII and two years of the pandemic. There are exhibits, rides, food, entertainments, shopping area, casino, agriculture, technology and sporting events. It's the fifth largest fair in North America. Annually, it brings in 1.5 million people.
