Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back is a 1993 run and gun game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the second game in the Super Star Wars trilogy and is based on the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back. The original Super NES game was released in 1992.
In terms of gameplay, the game almost completely repeats its predecessor. Of the main changes, we can note the appearance of Force abilities, as well as the appearance of vehicles in the run and gun mode. Graphically, there were no significant changes. It is worth noting the multiplier increased difficulty of the game compared to the previous game in the series. In fact, on a difficulty higher than "Easy", the player risks losing interest in the game at the very beginning on one of the levels of Hoth. Fortunately, this is not necessary, because the game content is not tied to difficulty and those who choose the "easy" level will not lose anything and will not miss anything.
