Visiting PADMA Shetu, Brand New the Largest Bridge in Bangladesh: The Padma Bridge is a two-level road-rail bridge across the Padma River. It is about 6.15 KM and costs 3.6 billion US Dollars to build. The Construction started on 26 November 2014 and was completed on 26 June 2022. It links the country's less-developed Southwest to the Northern and Eastern regions. The bridge is expected to boost Bangladesh's GDP by 1.23 percent. The bridge is considered the most challenging construction project in Bangladesh's history.
