In this episode of Unseen Britain, we explore inside a secret Cold War weapons base that helped shape Britain’s modern warfare capabilities.

Hidden behind layers of history and secrecy, this abandoned military research site once played a crucial role in explosives development, weapons testing, and advanced defence research. In this video, we gain access to surviving explosives testing tunnels and a rare laser testing chamber — powerful reminders of Britain’s Cold War military innovation.

For security and preservation reasons, the exact name and location of this site cannot be disclosed.
