Following that video, I was contacted by a lovely gent who told me his wife had a late X Reg model and that she was giving up driving it at the end of the month due to the running costs and the fact she only did 2000 miles a year.
He sent me some photos and said if I could offer him the same price as the 'scrap man' then he'd rather me look after it than it be squashed!
I of course had to save it and drove it faultlessly back from Blackpool.
This video is a quick walk around and look at it the morning after getting it home.
