The Aguada fort is a monument to Portuguese construction and engineering. The fort is categorized into two parts – the upper part and the lower part. The upper part was designed to serve as a fort and to serve as a huge watering station to the ships. The lower fort was primarily made for providing a safe cover to Portuguese ships.

A lower Aguada fort is situated at beautiful Sinquerim Beach. Sinquerim beach is picturesque swimming & water-sports destination covered with white sand. Sinquerim beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Goa.

Another part of lower Aguada fort is a Sinquerim fort view point. It is at the left side of lower Aguada fort. One has to walk a trail from the bottom of Hotel Taj.

Lower Aguada Fort is one of the must see destination of Goa. A Goa Travel Vlog or Goa Travel Dairies are incomplete without Lower Aguada Fort.
