7 Days, Highlights of Barbados Feb 2025

Описание: First time visit to Barbados, showing highlights of things we found to see and do on the Caribbean island.
Our trip started with the Aer Lingus flight from Manchester, UK to Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados. We had pre-booked a hire car with Drive-A-Matic, which we collected from the airport.
A short drive brought us to the Dolphin Inn Guest House, owned and run by friendly Iris. This was the perfect base to discover the island. It's only 34km from top to bottom and so is easily covered in the space of a week. Some of the roads away from the towns aren't in the best condition but it's not a problem, there's no great rush.
We ventured out each day to discover a different part of the island. In the evening our guest house was only a 10 minute walk away from St Lawrence Gap. A stretch of road with numerous bars and restaurants, often with live music.
On the morning that we left Barbados we took a quick look at the childhood home of Rihanna, in Bridgetown.
