Katrin Berger has dedicated her life to creating a beautiful home for animals… especially those in need.
She had always been accompanied by many different animals throughout her life. But it wasn’t until an adorable horse named Elrôhyr needed to be saved from being slaughtered that she sensed her true calling. She founded an association in 2015, a place where animals and humans get to be there for each other. 

18 horses, 5 Ponies, 12 dogs, 17 cats, 10 bunnies 5 chicken and 1 rooster have found their way to her ranch in France so far. 
Together with kind-hearted and dedicated volunteers and supporters she is heartwarmingly taking care of them. The deep, loving, compassionate, respectful and humorous connection she shares with each one of these animals deeply touched our hearts.

She is a true change-maker. A beautiful, brave and inspiring soul who’s always listening to her heart no matter the circumstances… knowing that if you believe in yourself and start on the path, the path will reveal itself.

Mit dem Lebens- und Begegnungshof „Zwischen Himmel und Herde“ hat Katrin Berger einen Lebensplatz für Tiere geschaffen. Viele hat sie mit Herz und Engagement aus einer Notlage herausgeholt und ihnen auf ihrem Hof ein liebevolles neues Zuhause geschenkt.

Ihr ganzes Leben lang ist sie von verschiedensten Tieren begleitet worden. Aber erst als ein einzigartiges Pferd namens Elrôhyr ihre Hilfe brauchte, erkannte sie ihre wahre Berufung und bewahrte ihn mit Hilfe von Spenden anderer Tierfreunde vor dem Schlachthof.
2015 gründete sie den „Lebens- & BegegnungsHof“ Verein, einen Lebensplatz mit Herz, wo Menschen und Tiere für einander da sind.

18 Pferde, 5 Ponys, 12 Hunde, 17 Katzen, 10 Häschen, 5 Hühner und 1 Gockel haben bis jetzt den Weg zu Katrins Hof in Frankreich gefunden.
Gemeinsam mit tierliebenden und warmherzigen freiwilligen Helfern und Unterstützern kümmert sie sich hingebungsvoll um die Tiere. Die zutiefst respektvolle, empathische, liebe- und humorvolle Verbindung zwischen ihr und jedem einzelnen der Tiere hat uns zutiefst im Herzen berührt.

Mutig und inspirierend hört Katrin stets auf ihr Herz, egal wie schwierig die Umstände sein mögen, im Wissen, dass der Weg sich von alleine weisen wird, solange sie an sich glaubt und den ersten Schritt wagt.
