Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos - Gladstone Keep (Remastered)

Описание: This is a "remastered" version I made of the song "Gladstone Keep" from the game "Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos". "Remastered" might not be the correct term, but it isn't a "Remix" either, as I simply aim to improve the overall quality of the songs, while maintaining as much of the original feeling of the game as possible.

For this song I had 2 variants to go on. The General-MIDI (GM) version and the Roland MT-32 version. The difference is that in the GM version the Flute is changed to a Harp in the last third of the song while the MT-32 version changes the Flute and also the Harp into a Bell-instrument instead. While I do like the MT-32 version better, I simply couldn't find any good Bell-instruments that would fit yet, but I also didn't really like the "Harp only" version, so I changed the Flute to a Violin and the Harps to a Guitar in the last third of the song. I hope you like this version as well, but I may also make another version of this song in the future if I find some nice Bell-instruments that fit.

The game was released in September 1993, published by Virgin Games (later known as Virgin Interactive) and developed by Westwood Studios, who also developed Eye of the Beholder 1 and 2 and wanted to create something new that outperforms Eye of the Beholder 2 and is not linked to D&D after being acquired by Virgin Games in 1992.
You take the role of one of four different heroes, who is sent out by King Richard, ruler of Gladstone Keep, to acquire the Ruby of Truth so they can defeat Scotia, an old witch, who has retrieved a dangerous item, the Nether Mask, which allows her to assume any form of any power or capability. And with the Dark Army under her control, she seeks the throne of Gladstone Keep.
