US Navy Installs World's First Carrier-Based Drone Control Hub

Описание: The USS George HW Bush, one of the US Navy's nuclear-powered aircraft carriers from the Nimitz-class, recently reached a new level of capability: it became the first in the world to be equipped with drone control center.

Known as the Unmanned Air Warfare Center (UAWC), this state-of-the-art facility marks a crucial moment in drone warfare. The UAWC is set to be the control hub for the Navy’s upcoming fleet of MQ-25 Stingray unmanned aerial vehicles and potentially other future autonomous aircraft, transforming how the Navy operates at sea.
