Bunkyo Walk: From Korakuen to Edogawabashi —
A Journey Through Landscapes and the Lives Shaped Within Them

Bunkyo Ward, where plateaus and valleys overlap, offers a quiet and nostalgic atmosphere despite being in the heart of Tokyo.
In this walk, we visit traces of Edo such as Denzū‑in, Denmyō‑ji, and the former Kirishitan Yashiki, then stroll through the charming and refined neighborhoods of Koishikawa and Kohinata—beloved by many literary figures.
Along the way, we feel the quiet presence that lingers on historic slopes including Tomisaka, Harima‑zaka, Myōga‑zaka, Fuji‑zaka, Kaeru‑zaka, Hattori‑zaka, Dainichi‑zaka, and Sagi‑zaka.
A landscape where terrain and memory intertwine.
A walk from Korakuen to Edogawabashi that reveals the depth of the city.
