The quantum life of primordial black holes as dark matter

Loop Quantum Gravity provides a viable scenario for the final life-stage of black holes: classical singularities are removed and instead we have the possibility of a stable Planckian remnant. This yields new possible windows of observation for quantum-gravity phenomenology. In particular, this could enrich the scenario where primordial black holes constitute dark matter. I review the production and properties of the remnants. I discuss how Loop Quantum Cosmology can integrate the presence of primordial black holes, either in an inflationary scenario or in a ekpyrotic scenario.
