In collaboration with the leadership at Puʻuhonua o Puʻuhuluhulu on Mauna Kea and many artists/allies, Mana Maoli is helping to coordinate an unprecedented live, worldwide, #Jam4MaunaKea online event.

Please be ready to share/repost the Mauna Kea Jam video promptly at 11a HST on SUN AUG 11th. This will be posted on Puʻuhonua o Puʻuhuluhulu Mauna Kea’s Facebook and Instagram (IGTV) pages, as well as Mana Maoli and various allies/artists’ pages.

Use the #Jam4MaunaKea hashtag on any posts related to mele and mauna

2) ACCEPT THE #JAM4MAUNAKEA CHALLENGE

The Mauna Kea Jam video that goes live on the 11th will be of kupuna, artists and kiaʻi on the mauna singing/jamming the medley.

We ask everyone who stands w/ Mauna Kea to play that video on one phone or window on your laptop, and GO LIVE on your FB or IG on another - as you cheer, dance, sing or jam along - solo, with ʻohana and friends, or at a gathering in your community.

You can also PRE-RECORD by singing/playing along to the practice video (1st link above) and post on the 11th when others go live.
