The SABC has joined the streaming service phenomenon and has launched its own streaming service, SABC + Plus.
The platform comes in the form of an App and features over 19 radio stations, all SABC TV and sports channels. The move is said to be key in addressing universal access for all South Africans. The app features both local and international content, with hopes that it will help increase viewership.
SABC Plus promises viewers unlimited local and international content. The move to Digital is in partnership with Hisense South Africa and is also available on Hi-Sense Smart TVs.
