The Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II) has finally been inaugurated, marking a huge milestone in Delhi NCR’s infrastructure journey.
This ₹11,000 crore mega project is designed to ease Delhi’s long-standing traffic congestion & provide smoother connectivity across NCR.
🛣️ Key Highlights:
UER-II will serve as a bypass for heavy vehicles, reducing load on Delhi’s internal roads.
It connects Delhi with major national highways like NH-48 (Delhi–Jaipur), NH-44 (Delhi–Chandigarh) & NH-9 (Delhi–Meerut).
This will significantly cut travel time between Delhi, Gurugram, and surrounding NCR towns.
By reducing jams, the project will also help improve air quality and save commuters’ valuable time.
