I spent several days float fishing for chinook and coho salmon on the Vedder River in Chilliwack BC Canada in October 2024.
My rod and reel: Shimano 10'6" Compre casting rod and Curado 301K low profile casting reel. I use either roe bags or BnR soft beads on a size 1 hook under a 20g float. My chinook salmon roe was cured with Pautzke Bait's red Fire Cure.
