Hello! Today, I have for you a simple crochet tote bag tutorial. This is a great first project for beginners or even more experienced crocheters who want to work up a cute, but easy pattern! This bag simple, yet stylish and can go with any outfit! The pattern is also very easy to adjust to make the perfect size bag for anyone.

Weight: Medium/Worsted (4)
Fiber: 100% Mercerized Cotton
Approximate total length: 372 yd / 340 m
Approximate total weight: 7 oz / 200 g

Dimensions:
Base - 26 cm long x 4 cm wide
Body w/out strap - 30 cm wide x 25 cm tall

Gauge:
14 sc - 19 rows = 4 in / 10 cm

Stitches:
Slip Knot (sk)
Chain (ch)
Single Crochet (sc)
Slip Stitch (sl st)

Tips:
Use a stitch marker for the first stitch of every round, so it's easier to see
Tighten your slip stitches to make the seam smaller and less visible
The chain 1 at the beginning of each round does NOT count as a single crochet
Pull your loose ends to the inside of the bag and weave them in (or leave them hanging!)
