The Anahi Mine in Bolivia is one of the largest producers of Ametrine in the world. A while back, Mike imported a parcel of AAA Ametrine rough directly from the mine itself. Watch as award-winning gem cutter, Michael Sackos, facets this bicolor gem into a modified version of the “Shallow Pavilion” design by Robert Long and Norman Steele. Mike had modified this design to include a table, but you can find the original design at facetdiagrams.org.
