Two Royal Enfield Hunter's & a Classic Honda go on a Picnic

Описание: Well as promised we finally got around to heading out for a midweek picnic on the bikes. Paul, Paul and me (Dave) took our Royal Enfield Hunter 350's and Paul's Classic Honda 400 Four Super Sport on an evening ride out to Eckington Picnic Area on the banks of the River Avon.

Wednesday 5th June and a break in what seems to be an eternity of rain, saw us embarking on our first evening ride out of 2024. It gave Big Paul the opportunity to reveal his bespoke cake display stand which he has spent the last few weeks and months fashioning from MDF off cuts and part of a tapered broom handle! Pauls bespoke design allows the cake stand to be dis assembled for transportation in a motorcycle top box. His colour scheme for the cake stand is 'Dragons Blood' (matching his bath) for the shelves, and a delightful 'Mrs Booth' colour for the upright, which matches his kitchen doors! 🤷🏻‍♂️ For those who would like to take inspiration and decorate your home to match Paul's ‘one off’ cake stand creation, the colours are available from Fired Earth, alternatively Farrow and Ball may have similar in their range of prestige paint swatches ! Complementing his cake stand he revealed an ornate flask, patterned with figures of Dobbie from Harry Potter, containing hot water for his tea, which you've guessed it, is some prestige brand, not Yorkshire or TyPhoo like what us serfs drink, that he drank from a ornately patterned Cath Kidston thermos mug! 🙄

Anyway apart from Pauls brazen display of one upmanship during the picnic interlude, we all enjoyed a really pleasant ride meandering our way through some stunning Worcestershire countryside and villages and oh yes, Paul, our resident comedian shared a few 'howlers' with us one in particular that should appeal to ‪@aussiebikerdude6563‬. And of course friend to myself and the channel ‪@Lanes-Explorer7777‬ gets a mention as I share the news of his recent purchase of the Tec Cam for the Hunter with Paul, who has now most probably gone and ordered himself one to try and steal the march on me! 😂
