Cable railing, and kickboard installation. See how to install indoor cable railing and wood posts from scratch. Everything is custom cut, the cap for the railing, two posts and the rail. Cable railings have an industrial influence. Oleg will demonstrate how to cut and pre-drill the posts for the cable rail installation. First, you will need to cut your cable to size, then you will need a hydraulic crimping tool for crimping the cable into the fitting. Insert the cable into the fitting, crimp it once, rotate, and crimp it again further down the end, then attach it to the post. Do the same for the Tensioner fitting, crimp it twice, and attach it to the post. Do this for all your cables and then use the tensioner fitting to tighten your cables. Once all your cables are attached and tightened, you are done, and this is how you install a cable railing from beginning to end.
