Mission briefing: [8 hours before OP: Crossfire]

GEN. Pepper - "Now that everyone is out of the room Jack, there's something very specific I need to explain that involves your mission. And as of right now, there's only a handful of individuals who know of this.. which is why this briefing is going on a separate recording that will be kept private, this is classified information Jack.."

Jack - "And what's that Sir?"

GEN. Pepper - "The location you will be deployed to is underground, up in the snowy mountains."

Jack - "I can handle the cold if that's what your worried about General. I'm not understanding where this going.."

GEN. Pepper - "That's not the part I'm wanting to discuss. I know you've been through it all. The heat of a desert, the muddy swamps filled with mosquitos & gators, open fields with hardly any cover. You name it, you've experienced it. I read your file before you joined my unit, and I've seen you in action multiple times on past operations. You're good at what you do soldier, but I'm not sure if you're ready to handle what awaits you. The environment isn't the issue that concerns me, and definitely not what's top secret information."

Jack - "So what is it Sir?"

GEN. Pepper - "Our INTEL Team has discovered a 2nd military group operating in Auroa alongside Sentinel, except these guys know what they are doing. From everything that both the INTEL Team & the RECON boys have dug up, it appears this group is ex-special forces. OUR special forces."

Jack - "What do you mean?"

GEN. Pepper - "I'ma give it to you straight Jack.. this group was once called your brothers & sisters. They are ex-GHOSTS."

Jack - "You've got to be joking. Are you sure the intel on this is correct? How do we know that it's just Sentinel with better trained soldiers?"

GEN. Pepper - "I understand your confusion and frustration but as of right now, that's all we got. It's yet to be confirmed which is why we need someone who is skilled enough to handle a mission like this in-case the intel is true."

Jack - "Rules of engagement?"

GEN. Pepper - "Far as we know, they are hostile.. very hostile. Our RECON Team has drone footage of them wiping out multiple platoon's of the local militia. These guys are good, and work as a team.. their tactics look very similar to what we exercise. I advise you to be cautious, and only engage priority threats first. Once rounds start flying, your green to eliminate any threats that stand between you & your objective."

Jack - "Roger that.. Sir. Do we have anymore intel on these guys?"

GEN. Pepper - "Boots on the ground says that the local militia call the group WOLFS, no idea who their commander is yet. I'm sure the militia didn't come up with that unique name all by themselves either. Waiting more intel but for now we will refer to them as WOLFS."

Jack - "Understood sir. What's my objective?"

GEN. Pepper - "The location you're being sent to is named CAMP WEASEL. It appears to be a old abandon nuke silo or something of the sort that Sentinel & these WOLFS currently control."

Jack - "A nuke silo? Interesting.. If this place still contains any nukes, I can see why Sentinel would have EX-Special Forces guarding it along with them."

GEN. Pepper - "You make a good point Jack, but clearing the compound of all hostiles OR sabotaging any nukes isn't your objective. We have zero intel if anything like that exists inside this base, but what we do have intel on is a new prototype drone that Sentinel has had their Skell scientists cook up in their prison of a lab."

Jack - "So a search & destroy op?"

GEN. Pepper - "You are correct. Also, if you do confirm that these WOLFS are guarding this base, we will change your callsign."

Jack - "That's unfortunate."

GEN. Pepper - "Don't worry Jack, I'll make sure it's changed to something that fits you. That's it for your briefing soldier. Dismissed."
