Even people without mental illness need to take time to relax. Life is so fast-paced and we have so much to think about and worry about. Therefore, we need to take the time to relax, lower our stress levels and take ourselves out of the Fight/Flight/Freeze response.
There is more to relaxation than breathing and in this video I will be sharing some other techniques that you an try. They include the following:
Autogenics
Progressive Muscle relaxation (The Body Scan)#
Meditation Visualisation
Massage
Tai Chi
Yoga
Music and Art
Aromatherapy
Hydrotherapy
