I'm making some headway with the RCA STS-1230 vintage loudspeaker DIY project and today I'm installing and testing Siless 80 mil sound deadener pads, to see if they'll reduce cabinet resonances.

Believe it or not, this is already part 16 of this speaker project and I'm ever so close to being done with cabinet bass tuning.
There's a bunch of sound deadening and anti resonance products on the market, some of them are quite pricey too.
Since this is a low budget, bang for the buck speaker build, I was looking for something inexpensive to use, that would be easy enough for anyone to find and try. I selected the Siless sound deadener pads from Amazon and although I hate to ruin the fun of watching what happens, I think they'll do the trick just fine.
