Open Rails - It's not chicken feed!

Описание: A quick Open Rails video on the very short MSTS diorama route around Redding CA. Once a year or so I go through older MSTS content that I havent used in quite a while to see if its time to weed it out and trashcan it. In order to run a 150 car grain train of chicken feed southward, I literally had to extend the mainline tracks in each direction by about 2 miles. Loading a 150 car train with the rear end at the end-of-track, the train entered the world with the head end power already across the big curved bridge north of town. So I literally had to extend the mainline 2 miles north just to give a newly added train enough distance to get on the roll before I could film it crossing the bridge. The route is tabletop, so no DEM either. Quite a few scenery items are european in nature, too, and don't quite fit the location. And it goes without saying that a classic car convention just happens to be in town the weekend this train of chicken feed rolls by.

Really makes you wonder what the purpose of routes like this were, other than building this for screenshot dioramas, which honestly are a distant second place to video clips. With the Shasta route for OR pending, it's probably time to send this short MSTS route to electron heaven.
