Brooklyn Paramount - inside of the iconic theater venue hosting live performance concerts. Filmed from the balcony above the floor at the concert of the Icelandic band “Of Monsters and Man”.
The Brooklyn Paramount is located in Downtown Brooklyn, New York City, and first opened in 1928 as a movie palace that occasionally hosted jazz, blues and early rock and roll concerts.
The theatre was closed in 1962 when it was converted into a basketball court. After a renovation to turn the building back into a performing arts venue began in 2017, it was reopened again as theatre in 2024.
The floor is slightly tilted upward which makes it ideal for general admission concerts where even people in the back have a chance for nice view of the stage.
