Описание: The Sermon on the Mount is some of Jesus' most important teaching about discipleship. Jesus begins the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5) with what we have come to call the Beatitudes ... those pronouncement of blessing on various groups of people. Some have taught that the beatitudes are virtues we should pursue. I don't think so. I think Jesus is throwing the door of the kingdom of God wide open to anybody who wants to come in ... and when they come in, they will be blessed!
