Baka Beyond are one of Britain's best loved world music bands.
After living with the Baka Pygmies of Cameroon, Martin Cradick and Su Hart, the brains behind the band, decided to sample unheard sounds and bring this high spirited music to life across the world!
This song was filmed in Frome at a gig where Baka Beyond were introducing their new fiddle player, Ben Weedon and drummer, David Farrel. Martin is on guitar and Su is on vocals. They are joined by their good friend Kibisingo on bass. Percussionist, Ayodele Scott had yet to return from Sierra Leone, but you can see him on Baka Beyond’s channel @bakabeyond.
This multi camera production is a thank you to Martin and Su for bringing African inspired music and so much joy to people over the years.
