Usually when testing code people use code coverage to check if they have tested everything. If you are using strict Test Driven Development (TDD) you will always have 100% code coverage. However it is still possible to miss test that means bugs can sneak into production.
One way to combat this is to use Mutation Testing.
In this video we look at GoMuteSting a Mutation Testing Framework to ensure we have covered all potential behaviours of Greater Than / Less Than functionality.
