The Victorian Goldfields Railway offers you the opportunity to drive a train.
Have you or someone you know ever dreamt of driving a Steam or Diesel train? To feel the power of the locomotive with their own hands and experience the wonder of a bygone era?
The Victorian Goldfields Railway offers the opportunity to drive one of our heritage Steam or Diesel Locomotives while in charge of a Goods train.
Our experiences cater for everyone, from Grandpa's Birthday Present to the 4 person group experience.
You need absolutely no previous railway knowledge or experience.
Driver Experiences may be enjoyed any day except: Sundays, Wednesdays, special event weekends, School Holiday Saturdays or during the Summer Fire Danger Period (usually around 1st December to 30th March)
