An eviction drive was carried out at the farmhouse of former MLA Pranab Balabanta Ray at Panturi under Dharmasala in Jajpur district. The Tahasil administration launched action against alleged encroachment.

JCB machines were pressed into service to demolish the boundary wall during the drive. A large police force was deployed at the spot to maintain law and order.

The action was undertaken by the local revenue authorities, with demolition work carried out at the farmhouse premises in Panturi.
