In late October I headed over to Tuckahoe to take a look at the Cape May Seashore Lines equipment that was stored there. I wanted to catch their fall foliage train that was running the day before but situations prevented that. I do plan on seeing their Christmas train come December.
The Cape May Seashore Lines' working engines are all Geeps. They include Central Railroad of New Jersey GP-7 #1523, Pennsylvania Railroad GP-9 #1500, GMTX GP-38 #2015 (ex Penn Central #7684) and GMTX GP38-2 #2661 (ex Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines #2011). As for non-operational engines they have a Conrail RS-3 (not pictured) and 4 Rail Diesel Cars (ex PRSL and New Jersey Transit), I do not know the operational status of the RDCs . They also have passenger coaches in various states of repair from the New York Central, the Long Island Railroad, PRR, NJT and the CRNJ's Blue Comet as well as cabooses from PRR and Conrail.
