MATCHBOX Restoration Y7 1918 4 Ton Leyland Van 1957

Описание: The real version of this delivery van was used in 1918 to deliver 'Jacobs' biscuits products around the UK. Built between 1957 and 1960 this little Matchbox Lesney Yesteryear model would've been a favourite 'Stocking filler' for any child especially if it was accompanied with a small packet of Jacobs biscuits.

The restoration of this model took me many days due to a multitude of unforseen problems popping up, not least, the fact that when I was close to the finish, it had to be stripped back to the metal and repainted as the decals crinkled up into an absolute mess! - I had to put the video on hold to await the arrival of replacement decals which ended up being of poor quality.
