Part One of a fascinating 2 part series documenting my recent trip to Mexico over the end of December and the start of January. 🌞🌊
The places we got to paddle were absolutely insane and I hope to return sooner rather than later! During our time in Mexico, I did get the famed river gut which took me out of action for a day, disappointingly on New Year's eve. But as sad as it is not getting one last paddle in on the last day of 2022 I was grateful to start 2023 on the water with a joy lap of the Big Banana Canyon.
I'm super thankful for everyone that made this trip happen from Kerem and Alastair getting hyped to everyone I met at Aventurec as well as the team there who got us well-fed, to the rivers and back safely.
