Описание: For Iori Espiritu, becoming a ceramic artist and starting a small pottery business became a reality partly because of her experience as an illustrator. When asked between illustration and pottery, Iori insists she doesn’t have to choose. She believes her skill as a children’s book illustrator is useful in her work as a ceramic artist. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Iori is focused on incorporating more illustration work on her wares.

Common Room PH is a collaborative space for artists and makers in the Philippines. Our physical stores provide a venue for local creatives to showcase their handcrafted products and original artworks. Our web store and digital platform on YouTube enable our community to reach more, not only through their products, but also through their stories. Our hope is that whether online or offline, these venues provide a home and a safe space for creatives to express themselves, support each other, grow together, and empower others to make with their hands.
