What is the anatomy of emotions? Learn about the Limbic and Endocrine system and how they work together to form memories. Hormones (controlled by the endocrine system) are the signaling messengers that deliver "instructions" to every cell in the body. The endocrine system is loosely controlled by the Limbic system, which is the seat of our emotions. There is no doubt that our emotional responses to stimuli elicit physiological responses in the body (to include hormone changes) but the limbic system is hard for western science to systematically measure and understand. Let's dive in to HOW these two systems work together, even though modern medicine (who denies the existence of the soul) can not explain WHY it works!! Fascinating!
