Stop Light Leak in HO Scale Models (Black + Silver Trick)

Описание: Hey, I’m Jamie — back on the Bachmann Spectrum GE 44 Tonner rebuild.

In the last episode I messed up the headlights (yep…), so we’re spending the next few episodes fixing it the right way. The 3D printed headlight part is done and curing — today is all about prepping the shell so the LED doesn’t light up the whole locomotive like a lantern.

Because HO scale plastic is thin, LEDs are bright, and light leak will ruin the realism fast. Spectrum actually painted the inside of the shell black to prevent that — and I’m using a simple version of that idea:

Black inside to absorb stray light + silver inside to reflect light forward.
