Student examples of a simple collection game made in Scratch.
Coded with the help of loops, conditionals and variables.
Basic requirements are a player character controlled by arrow keys moves on the screen. When the player touches a goal object, the goal disappears and the points go up (collection). When there is enough points gained, the player wins (show a win screen).
Game can be customized and improved almost infinitely. Classic examples of collection games include Super Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pacman, etc.
Created for use in the Voyager Middle School STEAM Lab class with middle school students.
