Описание: I’m currently playing Parasite Eve II, an action role-playing game developed and published by Square for the original PlayStation. It was first released in Japan in 1999, and then brought over to North America and Europe (the PAL regions) in 2000 — unlike the first Parasite Eve, which never got a PAL release.

The game serves as a sequel to the original Parasite Eve, but it shifts more toward real-time action and survival horror gameplay, blending RPG elements with mechanics similar to Resident Evil. You play as Aya Brea, an FBI agent working for the Mitochondrion Investigation and Suppression Team (MIST), as she battles mysterious creatures called Neo-Mitochondrion Beings.

It’s a cool mix of horror atmosphere, strategic combat, and RPG progression — a bit of a hidden gem from Square’s late ’90s catalog.
