I’ve been counting down my top videos of the year, and coming in at number 4 is the speech I gave when I accepted my Peabody Award for my social media series What Does Racial Bias in Medicine Look Like.
This moment was the culmination of years of research, posting into the void, listening to patients, and asking uncomfortable questions about the tools, teachings, and “defaults” we’re taught to trust in medicine.
