In many US States, every vehicle that hits the road has to get an annual inspection. The main purpose of inspections are to test and make sure that the vehicle is safe to ride and operate on the streets. Visiting your states local DMV website will provide you with all you need to know. From the licensed locations that are available to what you need to bring with you to the day of inspection. This is all quick and easy to find with a simple google search.


In this video, you’ll see what is generally checked and tested during an annual motorcycle inspection. This is based on my experience in my home state. The inspection went very quickly for me because I do a pre ride check often on my bike so I already knew my bike would be good to go.


I highly recommend you checking the laws in your state because if you are supposed to get inspected and you choose to not take the time to get it done, there are some inconvenient consequences that can occur if your bike gets spotted with out that valid inspection sticker like getting a ticket or worse… getting your bike towed away!
