Karolin recommends everyone to be a host family because it will make you and your family grow and you will have many fun memories together.
Enrichen your everyday life by becoming a host parent or host family to an international high school student! At the same time, you and your family can improve your language skills and learn about a brand-new culture – without going anywhere! Being a host family is a meaningful experience in which you will get to know a different culture, and your whole family will make a friend for life.
Exchange students will come to you for 3-10 months and in addition to their native language, most have solid English skills. What they all have in common is that they are here to learn your language and to attend a high school near by. The students are curious about our country, culture and language. Maybe because they have read and heard a lot about it, listened to music from your famous artists, or appreciate your star athletes.
