We take a brief look at one of Remington's most interesting products, the M24R. This is a factory refurbished/rebuilt US military M24 sniper's rifle, chambered for the 7.62mm NATO cartridge. Only true milspec parts are used, including an M24 long-action receiver, 5R heavy barrel, and surplus components taken from a military rifle which was "over there" and saw combat. For the military collector and/or accuracy fan, it just doesn't get much better than this.
Current M24Rs are shipping from Remington with the following accessories: Leupold Mark 4 M3A1 10x Optic, scope bases and rings, original M24 leather sling, military Deployment Kit, and military style manual. The glass on this rifle was exceptionally clear and free of any scratches or blemishes.
